THE OVERVIEW EFFECT
Two historic pictures changed the understanding and the relationship between human and nature significantly:
1953 the decoding of our genetic code and 1968 the first shoot of planet earth out of the Apollo 8. The view of the world changed literally. On the one hand nature was scaled down as never before and on the other hand nature was scaled up overwhelmingly. The first picture of the blue planet became a symbol for the environmental movement.
